JERSEY'S GERMAN BUNKERS

Hi and welcome to my homepage. A few years ago I was lucky enough to be invited to a wedding on the island of Jersey and although a militaria collector of many years I was fascinated by the German bunkers constructed there during the years of occupation. Since then I have visited the island on many occasions and have taken a number of different photographs of the fortifications on the island. I hope to provide upto date photographs of some of the more obscure bunkers not seen on other sites and also give accurate directions on how to get there. I will be updating the site on a bi-yearly basis with new photographs after each visit. Hope you enjoy the images and welcome any feedback you may wish to impart.

Listing Site Updates

Hi  all fellow 'bunker hunters'. Sorry for the delay in updating the site since my recent visit but there is a story behind this. I bought a new camera with a 600mm lens for this trip and spent the week happily clicking away and having a superb time. That was until I returned home one day from work to find SEVEN rolls of film all not developed !!!! The camera was faulty so all those trips will have to be made again. I enclose some digi pics my son took including some excellent ones at Le Fret and Portlet, Hohn 212 and Grouville common. Thanks to the team at CIOS for putting me on their links site.
